Phantom Darkness Rullings

Rainbow Dark Dragon
PTDN-EN003 (Dragon / Effect)
[This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by removing from play 7 DARK monsters with different names from your Graveyard. You can remove from play all other DARK monsters you control and from your Graveyard to have this card gain 500 ATK for each card removed.]

"Rainbow Dark Dragon's" effect to increase its ATK is an Ignition Effect.

Removing from play all other DARK monsters you control and in your Graveyard is a cost.

Samsara Lotus
PTDN-EN004 (Plant / Effect)
[During your End Phase, if you control no Spell or Trap Cards, you can Special Summon this card from your Graveyard in face-up Attack Position. This card's controller takes 1000 damage during each of their Standby Phases.]

Both of "Samsara Lotus'" effects are Trigger Effects.

If you chain a Quick-Play Spell Card from your hand to your "Samsara Lotus'" Special Summon effect, "Samsara Lotus'" effect disappears.

If "Book of Moon", etc., is chained to "Samsara Lotus'" damage inflicting effect and flips it face-down, the effect disappears.

Regenerating Rose
PTDN-EN005 (Plant / Effect)
[When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon 2 "Regenerating Rose Tokens" (Plant-Type/DARK/Level 3/ATK 1200/DEF 1200).]

"Regenerating Rose's" effect cannot be activated when you have 1 or fewer open Monster Card Zones.

Yubel
PTDN-EN006 (Fiend / Effect)
[This card cannot be destroyed by battle. You take no Battle Damage from battles involving this card. When this face-up Attack Position card is attacked by an opponent's monster, before damage calculation inflict damage to your opponent equal to that monster's ATK. During your End Phase, Tribute 1 monster or destroy this card. When this card is destroyed, except by its own effect, you can Special Summon 1 "Yubel - Terror Incarnate" from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard.]

"Yubel's" damage inflicting effect is a Trigger Effect that activates before damage calculation.

Tributing 1 monster or destroying "Yubel" is a Trigger Effect that activates during your End Phase. You make your choice when the effect resolves.

When "Yubel" is destroyed while in the hand or Deck, its effect activates. If it is destroyed while face-down, its effect activates.

The owner of "Yubel" activates the effect. (If your opponent controls your "Yubel" when it is destroyed, you get the effect, not your opponent.)

When "Yubel" is destroyed during the Damage Step, its effect can be activated.

Yubel - Terror Incarnate
PTDN-EN007 (Fiend / Effect)
[This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except with the effect of "Yubel". This card cannot be destroyed by battle. You take no Battle Damage from battles involving this card. When this face-up Attack Position card is attacked by an opponent's monster, before damage calculation inflict damage to your opponent equal to that monster's ATK. During your End Phase, destroy all other monsters on the field. When this face-up card is removed from the field, you can Special Summon 1 "Yubel - The Ultimate Nightmare" from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard.]

Destroying all other monsters during the End Phase is a Trigger Effect.

When a face-up "Yubel - Terror Incarnate" is sent to Graveyard, removed from play, or returned to its owner's hand, its effect to Special Summon "Yubel - The Ultimate Nightmare" activates. This effect cannot be activated when it is returned to its owner's Deck.

When "Yubel - Terror Incarnate" is removed from the field, its owner activates its effect. (If your opponent controls your "Yubel - Terror Incarnate" when it is removed from the field, you get the effect, not your opponent.)

Yubel - The Ultimate Nightmare
PTDN-EN008 (Fiend / Effect)
[This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except with the effect of "Yubel - Terror Incarnate". This card cannot be destroyed by battle. You take no Battle Damage from battles involving this card. If this face-up Attack Position card battles an opponent's monster, inflict damage equal to its ATK to your opponent and destroy that monster at the end of the Damage Step.]

When "Yubel - The Ultimate Nightmare" battles with a monster that cannot be destroyed by its effect, like "Vennominaga, the Deity of Poisonous Snakes", "Yubel - The Ultimate Nightmare's" effect still inflicts damage but will not destroy the monster.

When "Yubel - The Ultimate Nightmare" destroys a monster in battle, its effect still inflicts damage but the effect to destroy the monster it battled with disappears.

Armored Cybern
PTDN-EN009 (Machine / Union)
[Once per turn, you can equip this card to a "Cyber Dragon" you control, or to a Fusion Monster you control that lists "Cyber Dragon" as a Fusion Material Monster, OR unequip it to Special Summon this card in face-up Attack Position. Once per turn, while equipped to a monster by this effect, you can decrease the equipped monster's ATK by 1000 and destroy 1 face-up monster. (A monster can only be equipped with 1 Union Monster at a time. If the equipped monster would be destroyed, destroy this card instead.)]

"Armored Cybern's" effect to destroy 1 monster targets. The ATK of the equipped monster is decreased when this effect resolves.

If "Reverse Trap" is activated, the equipped monster will gain 1000 ATK instead of losing 1000 ATK. When the turn ends, the ATK gain will become an ATK loss.

When "Armored Cybern" is unequipped or removed from the field, the ATK lost with its effect is no longer applied.

When "Armored Cybern" is equipped to a monster that is unaffected by the effects of Spell Cards, you can activate its effect but the effect disappears because the equipped monster's ATK cannot be reduced with "Armored Cybern's" effect.

Cyber Valley
PTDN-EN010 (Machine / Effect)
[You can use 1 of the following 3 effects:●When this card is selected as an attack target by an opponent's monster, you can remove this card from play to draw 1 card and end the Battle Phase.●You can remove from play this card and 1 face-up monster you control, and draw 2 cards.●You can remove from play this card and 1 card from your hand, and place 1 card from your Graveyard on top of your Deck.]

"Cyber Valley's" first effect is a Trigger Effect. Its second and third effects are Ignition Effects.

"Cyber Valley's" second effect targets "Cyber Valley" and 1 face-up monster you control. They are removed from play when the effect resolves.

"Cyber Valley's" third effect targets 1 card in your Graveyard. "Cyber Valley" and 1 card from your hand are removed from play when the effect is resolved.

If an effect is chained to "Cyber Valley's" second or third effect that removes "Cyber Valley" from the field, the effect disappears.

If an effect is chained to "Cyber Valley's" second effect that flips it face-down, the effect is still resolved. If the selected face-up monster is flipped face-down, the effect disappears.

You can select a Monster Token with "Cyber Valley's" second effect. When the effect resolves, it is removed from the field and "Cyber Valley" is removed from play.

Cyber Ouroboros
PTDN-EN011 (Machine / Effect)
[When this card is removed from play, you can send 1 card from your hand to the Graveyard to draw 1 card.]

You can activate "Cyber Ouroboros'" effect during the Damage Step.

Volcanic Counter
PTDN-EN012 (Pyro / Effect)
[When you take Battle Damage while this card is in your Graveyard, remove it from play. Then, if there is a FIRE monster other than "Volcanic Counter" in your Graveyard, inflict damage to your opponent equal to the amount of Battle Damage you took.]

"Volcanic Counter's" effect is not optional.

Fire Trooper
PTDN-EN013 (Warrior / Effect)
[When this card is Summoned, you can send it to the Graveyard to inflict 1000 damage to your opponent.]

"Fire Trooper's" effect is a Trigger Effect. Sending "Fire Trooper" to the Graveyard is a cost.

Destiny Hero – Departed
PTDN-EN015 (Warrior / Effect)
[During your Standby Phase, if this card is in your Graveyard, Special Summon it in face-up Attack Position on your opponent's side of the field. If this card is destroyed by battle, remove it from play instead of sending it to the Graveyard. If a card effect would send this card to the Graveyard from the hand or Deck, remove it from play instead.]

When "Destiny Hero - Departed" is sent to the Graveyard to pay a cost, it is not removed from play.

"Destiny Hero - Departed's" first effect is a Trigger Effect. It is not optional.

"Destiny Hero - Departed's" effect is not activated while "King Tiger Wanghu" is face-up on the field because an infinite loop would result. If "Destiny Hero –

Departed's" ATK would become greater than 1400 when Special Summoned, because of another card's effect, it is Special Summoned.

Dark Horus
PTDN-EN016 (Dragon / Effect)
[Once per turn, when a Spell Card is activated during your opponent's Main Phase, you can Special Summon 1 Level 4 DARK monster from your Graveyard.]

"Dark Horus'" effect starts a new Chain after the Chain including the Spell Card resolves.

If an effect is chained to "Dark Horus'" effect that flips "Dark Horus" face-down or removes it from the field, its effect disappears.

The Dark Creator
PTDN-EN017 (Thunder / Effect)
[This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned, by having 5 or more DARK monsters in your Graveyard while you control no monsters. Once per turn, you can remove from play 1 DARK monster from your Graveyard to Special Summon 1 DARK monster from your Graveyard.]

If this card is sent to the Graveyard by this effect, Special Summon it during your next Standby Phase. When this card is Special Summoned, destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card.]

"Dark Nephthys'" first effect is an Ignition Effect. Removing DARK monsters from play is a cost.

You can activate "Dark Nephthys'" first effect while "Banisher of the Light" or "Macro Cosmos" is face-up, but "Dark Nepthys" will be removed from play.

"Dark Nephthys" effect to Special Summon itself starts a Chain.

The owner of "Dark Nephthys" Special Summons it, even if their opponent activated its first effect.

"Dark Nephthys'" third effect activates whenever it is Special Summoned, including by another card's effect. It is not optional.

Dark Armed Dragon
PTDN-EN019 (Dragon / Effect)
[This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by having exactly 3 DARK monsters in your Graveyard. You can remove from play 1 DARK monster from your Graveyard to destroy 1 card on the field.]

"Dark Armed Dragon" can still be Special Summoned while there are non-DARK monsters in your Graveyard.

"Dark Armed Dragon's" effect that destroys 1 card is an Ignition Effect. Removing 1 DARK monster from play is a cost.

"Dark Armed Dragon" cannot be Special Summoned from the Graveyard, even if it was properly Summoned beforehand.

PTDN-EN020 (Warrior / Effect)
[You can send 1 DARK monster from your hand to the Graveyard to have this card gain 400 ATK.]

Any ATK gained with "Dark Crusader's" effect is applied until it is flipped face-down or removed from the field.

Doomsday Horror
PTDN-EN022 (Fiend / Effect)
[The ATK and DEF of this card are each equal to the number of removed from play DARK monsters x 300. When this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, return all removed from play DARK monsters to their owners' Graveyards.]

"Doomsday Horror's" effects include your opponent's removed from play DARK monsters.

The values determined for "Doomsday Horror's" first effect are not treated as its original ATK or DEF.

Obsidian Dragon
PTDN-EN023 (Rock / Effect)
[Negate the effects of Spell and Trap Cards that target only 1 face-up DARK monster you control, and destroy them.]

"Obsidian Dragon's" effect is a Continuous Effect.

Equip Spell Cards equipped during a previous turn will be negated and destroyed by "Obsidian Dragon's" effect.

When a Union Monster is equipped to a DARK monster you control, it is negated and destroyed by "Obsidian Dragon's" effect after equipping to the DARK monster.

If you use "Snatch Steal" to take control of your opponent's DARK monster while you control "Obsidian Dragon", "Snatch Steal" is negated and destroyed, and the DARK monster is returned to your opponent.

If you use "Brain Control" to take control of your opponent's DARK monster while you control "Obsidian Dragon", the effect of "Brain Control" is not negated.

Shadowpriestess of Ohm
PTDN-EN024 (Spellcaster / Effect)
[You can Tribute 1 face-up DARK monster you control to inflict 800 damage to your opponent.]

"Shadowpriestess of Ohm's" effect is an Ignition Effect. Tributing 1 face-up DARK monster is a cost.

Future Samurai

●Once per turn, you can remove from play 1 monster from your Graveyard to destroy 1 face-up monster.]

"Future Samurai's" effect is an Ignition Effect. Removing from play 1 monster from your Graveyard is a cost.

Vengeful Shinobi
PTDN-EN028 (Warrior / Effect)
[When this face-up Attack Position card is selected as an attack target, draw 1 card.]

"Vengeful Shinobi's" effect is a Trigger Effect.

If an effect is Chained to "Vengeful Shinobi's" effect, and changes it to Defense Position or removes it from the field, you still draw a card.

The Immortal Bushi
PTDN-EN029 (Warrior / Effect)
[This card cannot be Tributed, except for the Tribute Summon of a Warrior-Type monster. During your Standby Phase, if this card is in your Graveyard and you control no monsters, you can Special Summon it. You cannot activate this effect if there are any monsters in your Graveyard that are not Warrior-Type.]

"The Immortal Bushi's" second effect is an Ignition Effect you activate during your Standby Phase.

If an effect chained to "The Immortal Bushi's" effect places a monster(s) onto your side of the field, "The Immortal Bushi's" effect disappears.

If an effect chained to "The Immortal Bushi's" effect removes "The Immortal Bushi" from play, its effect disappears.

Gladiator Beast Darius
PTDN-EN031 (Beast-Warrior / Effect)
[When this card is Special Summoned by the effect of a “Gladiator Beast” monster, you can select 1 “Gladiator Beast” monster from your Graveyard and Special Summon it. That monster's effect(s) is negated, and it is returned to your Deck when this card is removed from the field. At the end of the Battle Phase, if this card attacked or was attacked, you can return it to the Deck to Special Summon 1 "Gladiator Beast" monster from your Deck, except "Gladiator Beast Darius".]

The "Gladiator Beast" monster Special Summoned by "Gladiator Beast Darius" is continually targeted by its effect.

Returning the Special Summoned "Gladiator Beast" monster to the Deck does not start a Chain.

If the Special Summoned "Gladiator Beast" attacks or is attacked, it can be returned to the Deck to activate its effect, but the effect will be negated by "Gladiator Beast Darius".

While "Skill Drain" is active, if "Gladiator Beast Darius" is removed from the field, the Special Summoned "Gladiator Beast" monster will remain on the field. If the Special Summoned "Gladiator Beast" monster attacks or is attacked, and it is returned to the Deck to activate its effect, the effect will not be negated because "Gladiator Beast Darius'" effects are being negated by "Skill Drain".

When "Gladiator Beast Darius" is flipped face-down, its effect disappears and the effects of the Special Summoned "Gladiator Beast" monster are no longer negated. If "Gladiator Beast Darius" is removed from the field while face-down, the Special Summoned "Gladiator Beast" monster will not be returned to the Deck.

Imprisoned Queen Archfiend
PTDN-EN032 (Fiend / Effect)
[This card's controller pays 1000 Life Points during each of their Standby Phases (this is not optional). During your Standby Phase, if "Pandemonium" is on the field and this card is in your Graveyard, 1 Level 4 or lower Fiend-Type monster gains 1000 ATK until the End Phase.]

Paying 1000 Life Points during your Standby Phase is a maintenance cost.

If this card is targeted by a Spell, Trap, or Effect Monster's effect, you can Tribute 1 other Fish-Type monster to negate the effect and destroy that card.]

"Superancient Deepsea King Coelacanth's" effect that negates card effects when it is targeted is a Multi-Trigger Effect. This effect can be activated multiple times during the same turn and it can be activated during the Damage Step.

When "Exiled Force's" effect targets "Superancient Deepsea King Coelacanth", "Exiled Force's" effect can be negated even though it is now in the Graveyard.

If an effect is chained to "Sea Koala's" effect that removes every other Beast-Type monster from your side of the field, the effect of "Sea Koala" disappears.

Even while "Skill Drain" is active, the "Thunder Option Token" cannot be Tributed for a Tribute Summon.

PTDN-EN042 (Plant / Fusion / Effect)
[This card's name is also treated as "Neo-Spacian Glow Moss". This card cannot be Special Summoned except with "NEX". When this card attacks or is attacked, draw 1 card. Reveal that card, and based on its type apply the proper effect:●Monster: End the Battle Phase.●Spell: You can change this card's attack to a direct attack. ●Trap: This monster is changed to Defense Position.]

Once per turn, you can destroy all Spell and Trap Cards on the field. This card returns to the Fusion Deck during the End Phase. When this card is returned to the Fusion Deck by this effect, return all cards on the field to the Deck.]

This card cannot be Special Summoned, except by Fusion Summon with the above Fusion Material Monsters. Once per turn, you can activate 1 of the following effects:

All three of "Rainbow Neos'" effects are Ignition Effects.

Rainbow Veil
PTDN-EN045 (Equip Spell Card)
[If the equipped monster battles an opponent's monster, while that monster is on the field its effect(s) is negated during the Battle Phase only.]

"Rainbow Veil's" effect starts being applied when the attack is declared. It does not start a Chain. It does not target the opponent's monster.

Effects that activate in the Graveyard or removed zone will not be negated by "Rainbow Veil".

If a monster affected by "Rainbow Veil" is not destroyed by the battle, its effects remain negated for the remainder of the Battle Phase.

When "Rainbow Veil" is removed from the field or negated, the effects of the monster you battled with are no longer negated.

If a monster equipped with "Rainbow Veil" attacks a face-down monster, when that monster is flipped face-up in the Damage Step its effects are negated.

If a monster affected by "Rainbow Veil" is flipped face-down after the battle, its effects are no longer negated.

"Super Polymerization" does not target. The Fusion Material Monsters are sent to the Graveyard when "Super Polymerization" resolves.

"Super Polymeriation" prevents effects from being chained, but Continous Effects are still applied.

If "Super Polymerization" is activated while "Light and Darkness Dragon" is face-up on the field, "Light and Darkness Dragon's" effect does not activate.

If "Super Polymerization" is activated while "Spell Absorption" is active, the player who controls "Spell Absorption" gains Life Points.

PTDN-EN047 (Equip Spell Card)
[The equipped monster gains 300 ATK. If the equipped monster would be destroyed by battle, return this card to its owner's hand instead. After that, Special Summon 1 "Evil Token" (Fiend-Type/DARK/Level 7/ATK 2500/DEF 2500) on your opponent's side of the field. During the turn this card is returned to your hand, you cannot use "Vicious Claw" from your hand.]

If you cannot return "Vicious Claw" to your hand, its effects disappear.

"Vicious Claw" does not target the monster it destroys.

If you cannot destroy a monster, no damage is inflicted to your opponent's Life Points.

During the turn "Vicious Claw" is returned to your hand, you cannot Set it or use it to pay a cost. You also cannot activate an effect that requires discarding your entire hand as a cost or the effect of "Jowgen the Spiritualist" that discards a card from your hand at random as a cost.

During the turn "Vicious Claw" is returned to your hand, if your opponent adds the returned "Vicious Claw" to their hand with "Exchange", they can use it during the same turn.

If your opponent adds your "Vicious Claw" to their hand and equips it to their monster, when their equipped monster would be destroyed in battle "Vicious Claw" will return to your hand, but your opponent will resolve its effects.

After activating "Rainbow Life", if you activate an effect that inflicts damage to both your and your opponent's Life Points, your opponent will receive damage and you will gain Life Points.

After activating "Rainbow Life", you cannot chain "Barrel Behind the Door" to an effect that would inflict damage to your Life Points because you will gain Life Points instead.

If you activate "Rainbow Life" and your opponent has "Bad Reaction to Simochi" active, whenever you would gain Life Points with "Rainbow Life" you will receive damage instead.

Sinister Seeds
PTDN-EN065 (Normal Trap Card)
[Activate only when a face-up Attack Position monster you control is destroyed by battle. Special Summon 1 "Sinister Seed Token" (Plant-Type/DARK/Level 1/ATK 100/DEF 100) for every 500 points of Battle Damage you took from that battle.]

"Sinister Seeds" can be activated when the monster destroyed by battle is sent to the Graveyard.

"Sinister Seeds" cannot be activated if you will not have enough open Monster Card Zones for every Sinister Seed Token that would be Special Summoned. You cannot activate "Sinister Seeds" when you receive 3000 or more battle damage.

You cannot activate "Sinister Seeds" if you do not receive at least 500 points of Battle Damage.

Hate Buster
PTDN-EN066 (Normal Trap Card)
[Activate only when a face-up Fiend-Type monster you control is selected as an attack target. Destroy the attacking monster and the attack target monster, and inflict damage to your opponent equal to the original ATK of the attacking monster.]

"Hate Buster" targets the attacking monster and the Fiend-Type Monster being attacked.

If your Fiend-Type Monster isn't destroyed by "Hate Buster", you do not inflict damage to your opponent's Life Points.

"Hate Buster" inflicts damage equal to the original ATK of the destroyed monster after it is sent to the Graveyard or removed zone. If you destroy a Monster Token or a Trap Card that is treated as a monster ("Embodiment of Apophis", etc.) no damage will be inflicted.

Chain Material
PTDN-EN067 (Normal Trap Card)
[Any time you Fusion Summon a monster this turn, you can remove from play, from your side of the field, Deck, hand or Graveyard, Fusion Material Monsters that are listed on the Fusion Monster Card, and use them as Fusion Material Monsters. You cannot attack during the turn this card is activated. If you used this effect for a Fusion Summon, the Summoned Fusion Monster(s) is destroyed during the End Phase.]

When you Fusion Summon after activating "Chain Material", you do not have to use its effect.

You cannot use "Chain Material's" effect when resolving "Instant Fusion" or "Future Fusion".

You can use "Chain Material's" effect when resolving "Super Polymerization", but you can only remove from play cards that you control.

The effect of "Chain Material" can be used for every Fusion Summon performed during the turn it is activated.

You cannot choose to remove 1 Fusion Material Monster from play while sending the other Fusion Material Monsters to the Graveyard.

Alchemy Cycle
PTDN-EN068 (Normal Trap Card)
[The original ATK of all face-up monsters you control becomes 0, until the End Phase. Each time a monster that had its original ATK reduced to 0 by this effect is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, draw 1 card.]

Monsters with an original ATK that is already 0 are not affected by "Alchemy Cycle". You will not draw a card when they are destroyed by battle.

The effect to draw 1 card starts a Chain.

Monsters Summoned or flipped face-up after "Alchemy Cycle" resolves will not have their original ATK become 0.

Cybernetic Hidden Technology
PTDN-EN069 (Continuous Trap Card)
[When an opponent's monster declares an attack, you can send 1 "Cyber Dragon" you control, or a Fusion Monster you control that lists "Cyber Dragon" as a Fusion Material Monster to the Graveyard. Destroy the attacking monster.]

Sending 1 "Cyber Dragon" or Fusion Monster listing "Cyber Dragon" as a Fusion Material to the Graveyard is a cost. This effect targets the attacking monster.

When you activate (flip face-up) "Cybernetic Hidden Technology" in response to an attack by your opponent's monster, you can also use its effect by paying its cost.

Dark Spirit Art – Greed
PTDN-EN070 (Normal Trap Card)
[Tribute 1 DARK monster. Draw 2 cards. Your opponent can negate this effect by revealing 1 Spell Card in their hand.]

Tributing 1 DARK Monster is a cost to activate "Dark Spirit Art - Greed". You can Tribute a face-down DARK Monster.

The opponent reveals the Spell Card from their hand when "Dark Spirit Art - Greed" is resolved, if they want to negate its effect.

Dark Illusion
PTDN-EN071 (Counter Trap Card)
[Negate the activation of a Spell Card, Trap Card, or Effect Monster's effect that targets a face-up DARK monster, and destroy that card.]

"Dark Illusion" does not target.

Escape from the Dark Dimension
PTDN-EN072 (Continuous Trap Card)
[Select 1 of your removed from play DARK monsters and Special Summon it. When this card is removed from the field, destroy and remove from play that monster. When that monster is destroyed, destroy this card.]

"Escape from the Dark Dimension" targets 1 of your removed from play DARK Monsters.

If your opponent removes 1 of your DARK Monsters from play temporarily, you can select it with "Escape from the Dark Dimension".

Gemini Trap Hole
PTDN-EN073 (Normal Trap Card)
[Activate only when a Gemini Monster that is treated as an Effect Monster is destroyed by battle. Destroy all monsters your opponent controls.]

When your opponent's Gemini Monster that is being treated as an Effect Monster is destroyed by battle, you can activate "Gemini Trap Hole".

"Gemini Trap Hole" is activated at the end of the Damage Step when the destroyed Gemini Monster is sent to the Graveyard.

Drastic Drop Off
PTDN-EN074 (Counter Trap Card)
[Activate only when your opponent adds a card(s) from their Deck to their hand, including drawing a card(s). Your opponent discards 1 of those cards.]

If your opponent discards card(s) after drawing or adding card(s) to their hand as part of the same effect resolution, you cannot activate "Drastic Drop Off". For example, when your opponent resolves "Graceful Charity", you cannot activate "Drastic Drop Off".

All-Out Attacks
PTDN-EN075 (Continuous Trap Card)
[All monsters that are Special Summoned are changed to face-up Attack Position and must attack, if able, during the turn they are Special Summoned.]

"All-Out Attacks" starts a Chain whenever a monster is Special Summoned, even if the monster is Special Summoned in Attack Position.

Monsters that are Special Summoned face-down are also shifted into face-up Attack Position.

If "All-Out Attacks" is activated when a monster is Special Summoned, its effect is not applied because it must already be face-up on the field at the time the monster is Special Summoned.

Offering to the Snake Deity
PTDN-EN077 (Normal Trap Card)
[Destroy 1 Reptile-Type monster you control and 2 cards your opponent controls.]

"Offering to the Snake Deity" targets 1 Reptile-Type monster you control and 2 cards your opponent controls.

If an effect chained to "Offering to the Snake Deity" removes 1 of the targeted cards from the field, "Offering to the Snake Deity's" effect disappears.

If "Offering to the Snake Deity" targets a monster that is unaffected by the effects of Trap Cards, the other cards are still destroyed.

Cry Havoc!
PTDN-EN078 (Continuous Trap Card)
[You can remove from play 1 monster from your Graveyard to Normal Summon or Set 1 Normal Monster from your hand. You can only activate this effect during your Main Phase.]

You can activate (flip face-up) "Cry Havoc!" during any Game Phase, but you can only activate its effect during your Main Phase.

Removing 1 monster in your Graveyard from play is a cost to activate the effect of "Cry Havoc!".

If you Set a Normal Monster with the effect of "Cry Havoc!", you do not have to reveal it to your opponent.

If you activate "Double Summon" during your Main Phase and activate the effect of "Cry Havoc!", the Normal Summon or Set with "Cry Havoc!" does not use one of the 2 Normal Summons or Sets allowed with "Double Summon".

Transmigration Break
PTDN-EN079 (Continuous Trap Card)
[Any cards that would be returned to the Deck from the Graveyard are removed from play instead.]

You cannot activate "Pot of Avarice" while "Transmigration Break" is active.

You can activate "Cyberdark Impact!" while "Transmigration Break" is active, but the "Cyberdark" Monsters are removed from play instead of being returned to the Deck.

If an effect would return a Fusion Monster in the Graveyard to its owner's hand or Fusion Deck, the Fusion Monster is removed from play instead.

Vampire's Curse
PTDN-EN090 (Zombie / Effect)
[When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, you can pay 500 Life Points. If you do, Special Summon it during the next turn's Standby Phase. When this card is Special Summoned this way, it gains 500 ATK.]

You pay 500 Life Points when "Vampire's Curse" is sent to the Graveyard. Paying 500 Life Points is a cost.

The effect that increases "Vampire's Curse's" ATK starts a Chain when it is Special Summoned by its effect.

"Vampire's Curse" is not Special Summoned with its effect if it is removed from play.

Castle Gate
PTDN-EN091 (Rock / Effect)
[This card cannot be destroyed by battle. Once per turn, if this card is in face-up Attack Position, you can Tribute 1 Level 5 or lower monster to inflict damage to your opponent equal to that monster's original ATK.]

If you use "Shield & Sword" to switch the original ATK and DEF of a monster and then Tribute it with "Castle Gate", the damage inflicted will be equal to the monster's unaltered original ATK. For example, if you use "Shield & Sword" to switch the original ATK and DEF of "Mystic Tomato" and then Tribute it with "Castle Gate", you will inflict 1400 damage to your opponent's Life Points.

You can Tribute a monster whose Level is reduced to 5 or less by a card effect.

If you Normal Summon "Fusilier Dragon, the Dual-Mode Beast" without Tributes and reduce its Level to 5 or less with a card effect, when you Tribute it with "Castle Gate" you will inflict 2800 damage to your opponent's Life Points ("Fusilier Dragon, the Dual-Mode Beast's" original ATK).

When you Tribute a monster with a printed ATK value of "?", no damage is inflicted to your opponent's Life Points.

Dark-Eyes Illusionist
PTDN-EN092 (Spellcaster / Effect)
[FLIP: Select 1 monster. While this card remains face-up on the field that monster cannot attack.]

You can select a face-down monster.

When a face-down "Dark-Eyes Illusionist" is attacked and destroyed, its effect does not activate.

If "Royal Command" is actived after "Dark-Eyes Illusionist's" effect resolves, "Dark-Eyes Illusionist's" effect is negated.

Legendary Fiend
PTDN-EN093 (Fiend / Effect)
[During each of your Standby Phases, this card gains 700 ATK.]

When "Legendary Fiend" is removed from the field or flipped face-down, the ATK gain disappears.

When control of "Legendary Fiend" shifts to another player, the ATK gain is still applied.

When "Legendary Fiend" is equipped with "Megamorph", first double or halve its original ATK and then reapply the ATK gain.

If you Special Summon "Legendary Fiend" during your Standby Phase, its effect activates during that same Standby Phase.

If "Legendary Fiend" is equipped with your opponent's "Blast Sphere", you can choose to activate "Legendary Fiend's" effect or pass to your opponent. If they decide to pass, you must activate "Legendary Fiend's" effect.

While "Skill Drain" is active, the ATK gain disappears. When "Skill Drain" is negated or removed from the field, the ATK gain is not reapplied.

Metal Reflect Slime
PTDN-EN094 (Continuous Trap Card)
[After activation, Special Summon this card in Defense Position; it is treated as an Effect Monster Card (Aqua-Type/WATER/Level 10/ATK 0/DEF 3000). This card cannot attack. (This card is still treated as a Trap Card.)]

You can select "Metal Reflect Slime" with "Last Turn" and it will not be sent to the Graveyard.

A "Metal Reflect Slime" equipped with "Heart of Clear Water" will be destroyed by "Mystical Space Typhoon".

You cannot activate "A Deal with Dark Ruler" when "Metal Reflect Slime" is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard because it is a Trap Card in the Graveyard.

While "Metal Reflect Slime" is treated as an Effect Monster Card, it will count as 1 card for "Spatial Collapse".

When "Inferno" destroys "Metal Reflect Slime" in battle, its effect does not activate.

You can activate "Chain Disappearance" when "Metal Reflect Slime" is Special Summoned. The Special Summoned "Metal Reflect Slime" and all copies of "Metal Reflect Slime" in the Deck will be removed from play.

When "Absorbing Kid from the Sky" destroys "Metal Reflect Slime" in battle, its effect does not activate because "Metal Reflect Slime" is a Trap Card in the Graveyard.

When you activate "Earthbound Spirit's Invitation" and chain "Metal Reflect Slime", a replay will occur when "Metal Reflect Slime" is Special Summoned. If the opponent decides to attack with the same monster, you will select its attack target.

If "Metal Reflect Slime" becomes a Machine-Type Monster with "DNA Surgery", you can select it with "Machine Duplication" but you will not be able to Special Summon any cards because "Metal Reflect Slime" is a Trap Card while in your Deck.

Skull Zoma
PTDN-EN095 (Continuous Trap Card)
[After activation, Special Summon this card in Defense Position; it is treated as an Effect Monster Card (Zombie-Type/DARK/Level 4/ATK 1800/DEF 500). If this card is destroyed by battle, inflict damage to your opponent equal to the ATK of the monster that destroyed it. (This card is still treated as a Trap Card.)]

When "Skull Zoma" is destroyed by battle, its effect activates when it is sent to the Graveyard at the end of the Damage Step. This effect still activates if it is removed from play instead, due to "Macro Cosmos", etc. This effect starts a Chain.

When "Dark Ruler Ha Des" destroys "Skull Zoma" by battle, its effects are negated and it will not inflict damage.

When "Skull Zoma" is destroyed by battle, its owner activates its effect.

If a "Skull Zoma" is Special Summoned with "Magical Hats", its effect will not activate when it is destroyed in battle.

When an Attack Position "Skull Zoma" battles a monster with equal ATK and both monsters are destroyed, "Skull Zoma's" effect still activates.

"Barrel Behind the Door" cannot be chained to "Skull Zoma's" effect.

"Divine Wrath" cannot be chained to "Skull Zoma's" effect because it is a Trap Card in the Graveyard.

"Sorcerer of Dark Magic's" effect cannot be chained to the damage inflicting effect of "Skull Zoma".

"Skull Zoma's" effect cannot be negated by "Skill Drain".

"Des Volstgalph's" effect does not activate when it destroys "Skull Zoma" by battle.

If "Skull Zoma" inflicts damage to your opponent's Life Points while "Begone, Knave!" is active, it will return to your hand. If "Makyura the Destructor's" effect was activated during the same turn, it can be activated from the hand and Special Summoned. If "Final Attack Orders" is also active, it will be shifted into Attack Position and can then attack again during the same Battle Phase.

"Skull Zoma" inflicts damage equal to the current ATK of the monster that destroyed it by battle.

When "Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning" destroys "Skull Zoma" by battle, it can activate its effect to attack once again.

When "Skull Zoma" is equipped to "Relinquished" by its effect, it is only treated as an Equip Spell Card, not a Trap Card or Monster Card.

While "Skull Zoma" is treated as an Effect Monster Card, it can be targeted with "Generation Shift" or "Next to Be Lost".

Earthbound Spirit's Invitation
PTDN-EN096 (Normal Trap Card)
[Activate only when an opponent's monster declares an attack. You select the target of the attack.]

"Earthbound Spirit's Invitation" does not target. You decide which monster your opponent's attacking monster will attack when resolving "Earthbound Spirit's Invitation".

If "Earthbound Spirit's Invitation" is chained to "Astral Barrier", "Astral Barrier" is applied. If "Astral Barrier" is chained to "Earthbound Spirit's Invitation", "Earthbound Spirit's Invitation" is applied.

When multiple "Earthbound Spirit's Invitation" are chained, only the last to resolve is applied.

You can select the same monster your opponent had already declared as the attack target.

The new attack target that you select must be a legal target for the attack. For example, you cannot change the attack target to one of your opponent's monsters.

Belial - Marquis of Darkness
PTDN-EN099 (Fiend / Effect)
[Your opponent cannot select any monster you control, except "Belial - Marquis of Darkness", as an attack target, or as a target of a Spell or Trap Card.]

If you chain "Call of the Haunted" to a Spell or Trap Card that targets 1 monster you control and you Special Summon "Belial - Marquis of Darkness", the effect is still resolved as normal.
